The assignment of custom fields to elements is done via the settings of the element (see figure steadyPRINT Center: Assignment of custom fields).

Use the arrows between the tables in order to add or remove a field ( mark 1 / mark 2 ).

Use "Create new field ..." in order to create a new field. ( mark 3 )

 

The fields will then be added on the right side and values can be assigned.
