steadyPRINT consists of different service components that run as Windows services on the servers and/or workstations. The following table provides an overview:

Additionally, a background process runs during every user session, which establishes a communication channel to the steadyPRINT Service. A database system on Microsoft SQL Server basis serves as data storage. Using the free SQL Server Express Version is also possible.
