Installation > Setting the Service Language

The language of the steadyPRINT services is set via an optional field in the registry editor. The value of this field remains empty by default, but can be filled, with the values en for the English and de for the German language. By optionally setting the service language, it is no longer dependent on the system language.

Note: The service language currently only affects monitoring and the associated alert e-mails.

The optional field for configuring the service language can be found in the registry editor under the path Computer\HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\WOW6432Node\steadySUITE\steadyPRINT [Version number] with the name ServiceLanguage. Now enter either the value en for the English or de for the German language selection. At its next start, the steadyPRINT Server service will have the required language setting.
