Why don’t I see any local printers and computer information in the inventory?


Solution

For the inventory of local printers and computer information, it is necessary to enable the option in the Agent profiles to be found under steadyPRINT Center > settings > Agent profiles > [profile] > inventory. Both options “inventory local printers” and/or “inventory computer Information” have to be enabled respectively.

Note:

The inventory of Computer information takes place when the steadyPRINT Agent is started and is only possible on a Workstation. Clients that a started on terminal servers, don’t write any information into the database.

Dependencies:

Installed steadyPRINT Agent on workstation.
