Display printer website in the Center

Description of the problem

We have realized that when opening the printer website via the steadyPRINT Center the port name is used. In our environment, these names differ from the IP address and the DNS name. Therefore, the website cannot be displayed correctly. Could you provide further assistance?

Solution

For reading out the actual IP address of the printer, the steadyPRINT Center provides the user with local administrative rights on the print server on which the port was defined. Otherwise, there is no possibility to identify the correct IP address of the printer port.
With the steadyPRINT database, the steadyPRINT Center ensures the periodic comparison of the IP addresses from the print server ports.
