Features & Additions | steadyPRINT Center: Configuration of the Active Directory search | The steadyPRINT Center offers the possibility to centrally define the behavior of the Active Directory search. For this purpose different options are available: * Contains: Searches for all Active Directory objects with the search term being included in the name or one of the visible properties. * Starts with: Searches for all Active Directory objects whose names or one of the visible properties starts with the search term. * Perfect match: Searches for all Active Directory objects with the search term corresponding to the name or one of the visible properties. Note: For further search properties, please refer to our online manual on steadyprint.com/user-manual entnehmen. |
Features & Additions | steadyPRINT Center: Adjustment of state “Active” for Pool Master Service Member in case of maintenance mode | If the maintenance mode is en(dis-)abled via the steadyPRINT Center, the status of the concerned Pool Master Service Member must be set to (in)active in case of a cluster. This prevents the Pool Master from being furthermore addressed in the VPD Cluster although the maintenance mode is active. |
Modifications | steadyPRINT VPD: Load Balancing | Behavior adaption for backup group evaluation | The behavior of the Load Balancing algorithm “”Random (status-based) with backup groups”” for the VPD cluster has been adapted. This way, the modified evaluation for the use of backup groups guarantees the availability of print servers from unknown IP areas to home office users. |
Bug Fixes | steadyPRINT Center: Disabled assignments after restart of Center no longer visible | If printer assignments had been disabled in the steadyPRINT Center, they were no longer visible after a restart of the Center. This was merely a display error. This problem has been fixed. |
Bug Fixes | steadyPRINT Center: Organizational units can no longer be dissolved through the Center via the GUID | This problem has been fixed. |
Bug Fixes | steadyPRINT VPD: In very rare cases print job is not processed by the server | This problem has been fixed. |
Bug Fixes | steadyPRINT Agent: Nested Group evaluation may lead to an infinite loop | Depending on the Active Directory configuration, the client-side evaluation of nested groups could lead to an infinite loop. This problem has been fixed. |
Bug Fixes | steadyPRINT Agent: In rare cases, the Client IP is not determined correctly | This problem has been fixed. |
Bug Fixes | steadyPRINT Agent: MultiHop | Wrong client name with initial connection | During a MultiHop scenario combined with pure RDP connections, the initial connection resulted in the determination of a wrong client name. From the second attempt onwards, the name was always determined correctly. This problem has been fixed. |
Bug Fixes | steadyPRINT Center: Import printers | “Select all printers” does not work as expected | If a filter was set in the window for importing printers and the checkmark for “select all printers” was subsequently cklicked, all printers including those that were not visible were selected. This problem has been fixed. |
