Database backup with steadyPRINT Center fails
Description of the problem
We use the automatic steadyPRINT Agent Distribution and tried to perform a backup of the steadyPRINT database. Unfortunately, we receive the error message „[…] Access denied. […]“. Can you provide further assistance?
Solution
A backup of the database is initiated by the steadyPRINT Center. The execution context, however, is located on the used SQL Server itself. For this reason, shares must be specified from the SQL server’s perspective, more precisely from the responsible SQL instance service, in order to enable a successful backup. Use a network share with the required permissions.
