Disable reliability for scheduled maintenance

Description of the problem

A scheduled maintenance is due and you want to prevent the backup print server from being enabled.

Solution

For this purpose the reliability function can be temporarily dissolved manually by marking the master print server in the print environment tree via the steadyPRINT Center and selecting the tab “settings/secondary/migration print server” on the right side. Now the backup print server can be removed for the maintenance period and added again afterwards.
In case of planned recurring maintenance work as for example the installation of Windows updates incl. reboot, the steadyPRINT Server service can be terminated on the backup print server via Windows-task at the beginning of the maintenance work. After completion of the maintenance work the service can be started again via a Windows-task.
